An Antique is a work of art, including a piece of furniture, a decorative object which, according to some experts must be at least 100 years old. The term antique is used to mean different things. The most accepted definition is any object that is over 100 years old in age. Of late, some use the term to mean anything over 75 years old. This is a more recent interpretation given the scarcity of antiques in today’s market place. The three graces features period fine jewellery and most of our collections fall well within the antique (over 100 years old) realm. Our speciality is Eighteenth (18th) and nineteenth (19th) and early twentieth (20th) century jewellery.

Some of the collections fall with in the vintage or estate realm and each and every time will be clearly described with a date of origin. All  of our collections are antique, vintage or estate and we sell no reproduction jewellery made to look like an antique piece or to look older than it truly is.
